About the Opportunity

Cotton & Company is looking for a talented, creative, and forward-thinking Web Designer with UX/UI and AI experience to help expand our digital capabilities.

We're open to a variety of working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, freelance, on-site, remote, and flexible schedules—even evenings and weekends. Our priority is finding the right talent to help us build and grow this area of our agency.

What You'll Do

• Design visually compelling, responsive websites, landing pages, and digital experiences with a strong focus on UX/UI principles.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, accessibility, and performance.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and explore new digital solutions.
• Collaborate with our creative, production, and account teams to bring client concepts and campaigns to life.
• Contribute to graphic design, creative layouts, and digital marketing materials as needed.
• Translate creative direction, client objectives, and brand standards into polished digital experiences.
• Research, troubleshoot, and independently develop solutions to new design and technical challenges.
• Help identify opportunities, recommend tools and processes, and contribute to the growth of our web and digital design capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in web design, UX/UI design, and responsive digital experiences.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and a genuine interest in exploring how emerging technologies can improve creative work.
• Strong graphic design skills, including layout, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency with relevant design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with website platforms, content management systems, and web development fundamentals.
• Ability to take creative direction, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• A self-starter who is equally comfortable following direction and taking ownership when direction is limited.
• A natural curiosity and passion for self-learning, problem-solving, and keeping up with evolving technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front-end development.
• Experience designing and developing websites using WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar platforms.
• Background in advertising, marketing, branding, or agency environments.
• Experience beyond web design, including print design, graphic design, creative production, or campaign development.
• Familiarity with SEO, accessibility standards, website analytics, and conversion-focused design.
• Experience integrating AI into design, content creation, prototyping, or production workflows.
