Help Patients Regain Independence Through Personalized Care
Are you an Occupational Therapist who enjoys helping adults and older adults regain function, confidence, and independence in their daily lives?
We are growing our outpatient rehabilitation team and are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Parsippany and Somerset, New Jersey locations.
Our approach is centered on personalized patient care. We take the time to understand each patient's condition, lifestyle, challenges, and goals so treatment can be tailored to what matters most to them.
If you are looking for a workplace where quality care, clinical judgment, teamwork, and professional growth are valued, this could be a great fit.
Your Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adult and geriatric patients experiencing orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and age-related functional challenges.
You will evaluate each patient's individual needs and develop a personalized treatment approach designed to improve function, safety, confidence, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Identifying functional limitations and establishing meaningful patient-centered goals
- Developing personalized plans of care based on each patient's condition and individual needs
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic activities, strengthening, coordination, mobility, and functional training
- Helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities at home and in the community
- Recommending adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies when appropriate
- Educating patients and caregivers on home programs and ways to maintain progress
- Monitoring patient outcomes and modifying treatment plans as patients improve
- Collaborating with physicians, Physical Therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
What Makes Our Approach Different
We believe effective rehabilitation starts with understanding the person, not simply treating a diagnosis.
Every patient has different goals, abilities, and challenges. Our therapists have the opportunity to provide individualized, thoughtful care and create treatment programs based on each patient's specific needs.
Our goal is to help patients make meaningful progress they can feel in everyday life — whether that means improving mobility, returning to daily routines, becoming more independent at home, or getting back to activities they enjoy.
