ByteDance is a technology company seeking a Security Software Engineer Project Intern to support its Network Security team. The intern will research and implement machine learning and deep learning-based security protection algorithms, including traffic modeling, anomaly detection, attack identification, and LLM-assisted rule generation for L7 DDoS and WAF systems.

Responsibilities

Security interns will research and implement intelligent security protection algorithms based on machine learning, deep learning, including: L7 DDoS/WAF Traffic modeling, anomaly detection and attack identification LLM-assisted L7DDoS/WAF rule generation

Qualifications: Undergraduate, or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other STEM disciplines Solid foundation in machine learning/deep learning, with an understanding of the principles and applicable scenarios of common models Familiar with at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch) Interested in or with practical experience in the field of Cyber Security or network traffic analysis Experience with NLP/LLM Knowledge of distributed systems, edge computing, or high-performance network programming
