Blossoming Beginnings is a growing private practice in Clayton, NC, offering full-time and part-time opportunities for OTs who are ready to work independently and passionately support children and their families.

We offer both home health and in-clinic settings to meet the needs of our clients — and support the style of our therapists.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join this team. In this role, you will work with pediatrics in a clinic setting with a room just for you in a clinic space as well as provide therapy to in-home and daycare clients. The main goal is to provide holistic care and help them achieve their maximum potential in daily living activities.

You will develop individualized care plans, assess patient needs, and provide therapeutic interventions to enhance their quality of life as well as supervising one occupational therapy assistant if needed. Your expertise in patient service and knowledge of physiology will be crucial in delivering effective therapy.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical and mental capabilities.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Assist patients in improving their ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide therapy services in a clinic setting, focusing on both pediatric populations.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for improvement.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in therapy practices.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with developing care plans that address diverse patient needs.
• Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and effective communication.
• Prior experience in a home health setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
