Role Description

The Technical Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pentagon This position is responsible for leading end-to-end program planning, execution, and delivery for technology and cyber-related initiatives supporting government networks.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating cross-functional project teams, managing timelines and budgets, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and mission objectives.

The Technical Program Manager will oversee technical workstreams, collaborate with software development and product stakeholders, identify and mitigate risks, and provide clear status reporting to internal leadership and government clients.

The role also involves refining processes, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring that all program activities adhere to applicable standards, security policies, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to lead complex, multi-phase technology initiatives.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, make informed decisions, and optimize program performance.
  • Experience collaborating with teams to align technical deliverables with program objectives.
  • Background in Product Management or working with product stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
  • Experience managing technology or cyber programs in government or highly regulated environments is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief stakeholders and document program activities clearly.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, build consensus, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and government IT standards and compliance frameworks is advantageous.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level III PM Certification.
  • Possess DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 Certification IAW established mandate prior to start of order.
  • Minimum of Top-Secret Clearance is required.
