Web Backend Engineer - Healthcare AI Platform

About The Role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to build and scale the server-side infrastructure powering TriClick™, our AI platform for clinical trial automation. You will design APIs, data pipelines, and integrations that process sensitive clinical data.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build data processing pipelines for clinical datasets
• Ensure system security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Optimize database performance and system scalability
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers on model serving infrastructure

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Understanding of security best practices and healthcare compliance
